How are our children balancing their busy digital lives while living in the most populated city in the nation, if not the busiest one in the world?
Did you know that children spend these days on average 7 or more hours in front of various screens and less than 10 minutes playing outdoors? (1) Plus, according to the CDC, 1 in 6 U.S. children ages 2–8 years (17.4%) had a diagnosed mental, behavioral, or developmental disorder. (4)
In my opinion, there’s nothing more important than helping our children, the ‘generation AI,’ balance their busy digital lives, so they can thrive again. They’re our future, so we need them healthy, strong, and ready to navigate the often harsh realities of this ever-changing world.
But how could we assist children, who are just on the brink of developing their defenses, in coping with this new world full of tension, uncertainty, sad news, confusing culture, and, most importantly, all the technology that’s constantly competing for their attention?
I believe that nature, healing, and mindfulness are some of the most crucial ingredients missing in the lives of many city children, especially among the less privileged, struggling, homeless, or undocumented kids — whose families are often too busy making ends meet or too financially strained to provide the necessary mental help and guidance.
How would I know? I’ve been there myself. But today, I’m stronger than ever and ready to make a big difference in the world by bringing children and their families closer to Mother Nature — regardless of their status or situation.
Living With Teddy — MISSING: A Magical Tale of Wild Teddy Bears is here to help.
For the last three years, I’ve poured my heart and all of my free time into 'MISSING,' a magical tale of Mother Nature and her little helpers — Wild Teddy Bears, some of children’s closest allies. They are the true ancestors of our domesticated teddies and perhaps the rarest, wisest, and funniest creatures still roaming the face of the Earth. Not to mention, they’re eager to help children everywhere thrive again.
My innovative children’s story, available in February 2024, that doubles as a personal development book, was designed to introduce our first readers and their parents to the whimsical world of Mother Nature through these fun little creatures, who helped me overcome many challenges in my childhood and made me a much stronger, wiser, and healthier human being.
I hope that you and your children will have a chance to discover their magic too because it can bring more balance into your lives and help you uncover something new — not just about your furry friends but also about some of the less obvious responsibilities we all have toward ourselves, each other, and our struggling planet, Earth.
It doesn’t matter who you are, how old you may be, or where you come from. If you’d like to learn how to awaken the healer within and help yourself, your family, or perhaps even the world thrive again, then make sure to subscribe to my fun email newsletter, to be the first to know when my book is available (February 2024) and to download the first three chapters of my adventure.
Introducing PROJECT HEALING NYC
Today, I'm also ready to take my mission to the next level by sharing 'MISSING' with as many families in need — for FREE — starting with my home base, New York City.
I am currently seeking support from the NYC Mayor, the David Prize Award, and various organizations to enhance visibility and garner backing for my cause. To explore how you or your organization could become part of PROJECT HEALING NYC, please reach out to me directly via email at email@example.com.
